Hargeisa(Horn)-The outgoing Somaliland envoy to Ethiopia, Amb Adan Muse Jibril talks about the last reshuffle. President Silanyo appointed Ambassador Jibril to be the Somaliland envoy to the African Union.

Hargeisa (The Horn)- The recent conflict between the Minister of Education and higher studies Mr. Abdilaahi Ibrahim Habane (Abdilahi Dheere) and his Director General (DG) Mr. Abiib Ahmed Ali has got worse and the State Minister Mr. Mohammed Haji Adam Elmi, has now come out in support of the Director General. On the other hand, Yusuf Osman Garas has sided with the Minister and the other senior staff at the ministry are divided between the two sides
Khatumo Chief Opens Talks with Somaliland
Hargeisa (The HORN)- Ali Khalif Galaydh a former Somali PM who is now the chief of the so called Khatumo State of Somalia have affirmed that his administration had opened peace talks with Somaliland, which Khatumo regions is among its territory, to put an end to the Sool, Sanaag and Buhodle conflicts.

Somalia Orders Closure of Turkish Schools linked to Rogue Cleric
Mogadishu (The Horn)- The Amisom propped government of Somalia, has issued a directive for the closure of several Turkish schools across Somalia run by an International NGO owned by the rogue cleric Gulen who is accused of orchestrating the failed coup. Turkey Nile Academy based in Hargeisa, Somaliland is one of the schools the Somalia government wants shut, and has given the Turkish teachers of the schools seven days to leave the country. Interestingly Hargeisa, does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Somali government.
Obituary: John Drysdale Laid to Rest in Hargeisa
Hargeisa (The Horn)- The president of Somaliland H.E Ahmed Mohammed Mohammud (Silanyo) attended the burial of the late John Drysdale, who came to Somaliland with the British colonial administration but decide to make Somaliland his home. He holds a dual British/Somaliland nationality, Mr Drysdale later on in his life converted to Islam and took the name Abbas Idiris (May Almighty Allah light his grave with everlasting light for seeing light at the end of the tunnel Amen).

Chairman Somaliland Quality Control Agency talks about the Standard of Bottled Water
Hargeisa(The Horn)-After the Horn Newspaper recently published a report on the state of bottled water in the country, Somaliland’s Quality Control Agency Chairman, Mr. Ali Mohammed Abdalla also known as Biikalo came out of oblivion to talk to the Horn Newspaper about the state of water producing factories mushrooming in the country. Many bottled water companies in Somaliland have not yet had their water analysed by an independent body to ascertain their hygiene and quality and as a result consumers have been left at the mercy of these establishments.
Youths Boo and Jeer Vice President
Erigavo (The Horn)- The vice president Abdirahman Sayli’i was jeered and booed on his whirl ward tour of Sanaag region. Upon arriving in Erigavo town thousands of youths confronted his motorcade,whistling and shouting obscenities. The vice president is in Sanaag to flag the start of voters registration exercise. As the vice president motorcade slacked through the town streets the enraged youths started booing and whistling at the vice president and his delegation. “Go away we don’t want you” rent the air. A video clip was put on social media showing the vice president being taunted by the irate youths.
